Diego Ramirez Schrempp – Marketing Elements
Colombian-German, he studied Finances and International Relations at the Externado University in Colombia and then continued with graduate studies on International Economics and Management at the University of Basel in Switzerland. Diego worked for seven years in Accenture as Banking Strategies consultant (Bogotá, Buenos Aires and Madrid offices). There he led international strategic projects for financial clients like Santander, BBVA, Lloyds, Itaú, Banco Galicia, and Banco de Bogotá. Then he worked for 3 years in De La Rue at its London Headquarters. He was part of the executive team for business development, leading key projects like the strategy for world expansion and positioning and the development of new markets in North Africa, Southeast Asia, Latin-America and Eastern Europe.
Since 2006 Diego has worked on design and coordination of marketing campaigns for Colombian films in both traditional and alternative media. He designed and oversaw the launch of dynamo Capital’s film projects Satanás (Satan) and Perro Come Perro (Dog-Eat-Dog).
He is focused on developing distribution strategies for Colombian films through windows that have not been used before in Colombia. He is implementing new distribution models, specific for each channel (DVD, Cable TV, Hotels, Airlines, Internet and other platforms), with the additional objectives of piracy control and maximization of home consumption of audiovisual entertainment.
